The Boleyn Gesture

Well, I’m as happy as a pearl crappin’ clam in the 50’s, and do you know why? because the winter’s grass-killing grip is finally letting up and it’s time to hit the links for another season of great golf. But before the courses open and all I can do is hit orange range balls into a big, empty field of snow, I’m going to outfit myself with some new golf equipment
. And instead of putting the snow tires on to drive into town, I’m going to order my new Taylormade irons online to be delivered to my house. Sure saves on gas and convenience, and since I won’t be able to use them for another couple of weeks anyways, I have time to shop around on various websites and save money by shipping ground.

Boy, I can’t wait till the snow drains off and those golden green pastures peek out to enjoy the springtime with the rest of us!

{November 23, 2008}   On second thought…

I realize now that Taylormade drivers AND Taylormade irons are a lot to ask for on Christmas when we all have plenty of people to buy for… so I’d be happy just to get the irons. After all, the driver I have now works well enough… so spread the news!!

{November 22, 2008}   Christmas is almost here again!

If I got to pick out my own gifts, I’d present myself with new Taylormade drivers and Taylormade irons for the birthday of birthday of Baby Jesus. Since the weather has been nice and my school schedule is pretty lax this semester, I have a lot of great opportunities to play so I’d use the clubs often! Please someone, get them for me!!!
